A lovely opportunity for a young cook to work in the South of France for an Irish couple and their guests, (numbers of whom will vary from time to time) .
Return flights, separate accommodation and car will be provided.
Duties will include
Preparation and serving of lunch and dinner with a focus on using fresh seasonal local produce six day a week. Menu planning should include lots of variety that will suit the family’s dietary requirements and palate.
Shopping, stocking of kitchen and maintaining accurate financial records.
Kitchen management and ensure the highest standards of hygiene, health & safety.
To be successful for this position, you must be passionate about food, have an attention to detail and a capacity to interact with family and guests as needed. Some knowledge of French would also be an advantage.
