Assistant chef required for 9 bedroom country house hotel overlooking the Atlantic ocean in Lahinch. Co. Clare. Moy House was recently awarded "Best Hotel and Guesthouse Restaurant" in Co. Clare at the Irish Restaurant awards 2018. Moy House was also awarded "Destination of the Year 2018" by Sally and John McKenna as well as being listed in the Sunday Times "Top 100 Restaurants in Ireland". The hotel is listed in "Ireland's Blue Book" and the restaurant holds 2AA rosettes.

The Hotel has it's own farm which provides the kitchen with as much fruit, herbs and vegetables as possible, as well as Dexter Beef, Lamb, free range eggs and free range pork which is used for all the handmade bacon, sausages and black pudding for breakfast.

The successful candidate will be required to assist the head chef with the preparation and service of food in the restaurant; which serves a 6 course tasting menu that changes daily according to what is available from the farm. The assistant chef will also be required to share the responsibilities of breakfast shifts and all the baking of breads, cakes and pastries for the hotel. 

Accommodation available in Lahinch. 

Qualifications Requested Previous experience in a similar role preferable. HACCP training essential.
