We are looking for a passionate food enthusiast to work with Sri Lankan chefs across our small collection of boutique hotels here in Sri Lanka.
The role would involve travel across the island, with time spent at tea estate bungalows, jungle lodges, lake-side retreats and (with any luck) beach-side hotels.
Your role would be as a roving consultant, spending time with teams at each property on a rotation basis to:
Review and re-design menus
Source local/sustainable products/ingredients
Work with chefs on preparation, presentation and styling
Train and (where needed) recruit kitchen staff (working with the team here on the latter)
Oversee general F&B operations to ensure great quality
You'd act as an overall consultant but work in close partnership with the main management.
We're looking to fill the role for an initial period of 1 year, with longer-term possibilities beyond that.
