The Belvoir Estate is looking for an Executive Chef to manage all food & catering aspects of the business over three different locations on the Estate. This person will be responsible for managing everything for the Belvoir Castle kitchen, The Fuel Tank (at The Engine Yard) & The Croxton Park kitchen.
We are looking for someone to take hold of each part of these three food outlets on all levels including: suppliers, developing menus, managing costings, health standards, training up chefs, kitchen rota, staffing, managing all three locations & all the staff there.
We are very conscious of using as much local produce as possible and so the appropriate candidate must have a passion for sourcing the very best british produce as well as potentially even starting up an estate herb and vegetable garden to supply all three outlets. The right candidate must have had experience of creating fine dining food as well as be able to create a wholesome lunch menu for the Fuel Tank at The Engine Yard.
The right candidate must enjoy being in the countryside and not be afraid of getting stuck into a busy winter season of shoot lunches for very high net worth individuals who expect excellence on every level to curating an interesting and tasteful lunch and evening menus for the Fuel Tank at The Engine Yard. This is a very versatile job and requires and very capable person to run the show on the food front and manage different environments, chefs and menus.
