This is a full-time position starting at the beginning of April. The ideal candidate will have significant restaurant or catering experience, ideally with a knowledge of different food cultures. Our curriculum encompasses a repertoire of techniques and approaches that span culinary cultures from around the world.
The responsibilities will include the following:
Management of a small team
Doing regular demonstrations as part of the cookery classes, educating students and managing the “hands on” so that the classes run efficiently and are completed within the designated time frames
Ensuring that the standards of the school are maintained at all times
Managing food costs, ordering, portion control, rotation of stock and using up left over products from previous days
Maintaining HACCP records
Overseeing the management of the kitchen, cleaning of fridges, managing stores
and keeping stocks at appropriate levels
Organising bespoke corporate events and parties
Planning menus for classes, events and private functions
