Creative Catering Chef

Catering Chef required for a busy catering company in South London. No two days are the same, we are looking for someone fun and ambitious to join this growing team. Our regular jobs include but are not limited to:

-Corporate Canape Deliveries

- Canape Parties & Events (the occasional Saturday)

-Corporate Lunch Box Deliveries

-Picnic Deliveries

In taking on this role at such an exciting and pivotal time for Chrissy’s Kitchen, you will have the opportunity to be hands-on, to learn, grow and implement your own ideas into our menus. We are looking for a chef who is highly motivated who will assist in the practical day to day running of our catering kitchen.

Your role:

• 24 hours a week minimum ideally 10-6 Monday, Thursday & Friday

• Menu creation for our regular corporate lunches

• Assist in canape creation for our events

• Helping to create new environmentally friendly recipes  

• Work with the Head Chef to fulfil and keep up to date all of the relevant Food Safety Standard Requirements.

Your skills:

• Organised and able to manage your time efficiently; work well under pressure .

• Strong communication skills.

We have a shared office/kitchen space in the exciting new space Mission Kitchen in Vauxhall [a unique community space with opportunities to learn and work alongside other ethical, sustainable businesses] and with this come all the perks of working in a food based environment (weekly breakfasts & drinks, lunches).
