At Horetown House we host high end, sustainable weddings with a focus on customer experience above all else.  We have built our reputation on amazing food and welcoming hospitality. 

We are starting a new phase in our journey towards sustainability with the development of our gardens to produce fruit and vegetables on site.  We see this as a huge leap forward and are looking for a Chef who dreams of picking and foraging seasonal produce and developing menus to showcase the best of what our soil can offer. 

We will follow a regenerative model and are begining the transition to Organic.  We envisage this role to be a partnership with our Head Gardener David, working as part of a team to put incredible Irish produce in front of our guests.

As our business is event based, we would like if the candidate has some experience with events and catering for large numbers, but as we have strong systems in place, it isn't crucial.  The most important experience is with using seasonal produce, developing menus, having a love of food and a positive attitude to working as part of a team with a focus on customers experience.

Qualifications Requested
This role demands an excellent palette, experience with seasonal produce, ability to manage a small team and the passion to start a new project and develop new menus.
