We call our cafe - a small slice of Italy. We are a 24 cover Caffè Italiano, situated at the heart of the village of South Harting, West Sussex. 10 minutes from Petersfield and 20 minutes from Chichester.

We serve breakfast, brunch, lunch and the best coffee. We hold a pop-up supper twice a month and some private evening events.

Our food is authentically Italian - simple but incredibly flavoursome. Our cafe is piccolo, so every crostini, bruschetta, small plate, nibble, warming bowl or toasted focaccia is oozing with love.

Like all Italians, we take our coffee very seriously - we strive to serve the very best. Our drinks menu is delicious and original.

We are fully licensed and pop-up for Supper once a month, moving to at least twice a month from May 24.

Our cafe sits within Lamb & Newt - a lifestyle antique and Vintage shop. Everything in the shop and cafe is for sale.

We have just received a 5 star review from Tom Parker Bowles for You magazine.

Our founder chef is leaving to start a family so we are now looking for an exciting hands on head chef to take what we have created forward and add their own touch of magic.

We will need you to start from the 21st May, with at least a weeks prior handover, so available from 13th May.

Head Chef

3 days 8.30 - 4.30 service

1 days prep.

2 evenings a month.

Occasional private evening event.

Duties:

Menu building.

Head of Kitchen, with a Barista, weekend Kitchen Assistant and Front of House.

Hands on cooking for service and occasional evening events.

All food prep and ingredients stock control, supplier contact and ordering.

We are also looking for a part time chef to work with you.

Part time chef also needed.

2 days - 8.30 - 4.30 service.

Duties:

Morning prep and service 2 days a week.

Our Cafe is situated in the most beautiful village at the foot of the South Downs. We have already earned ourselves a wonderful reputation for simple but incredibly delicious Italian food - warm and inviting. You will be working along side a small but gorgeous and dedicated team and work closely with the owner to nurture and elevate our reputation. We work as a family.
