Headfort School is a historic, independent primary school located on the stunning Headfort Estate in Kells, County Meath. 

Set within 100 acres of parkland and woodlands, the school offers a distinctive educational experience that blends strong academic foundations with creativity, outdoor learning, and personal development. Known for its warm community, small class sizes, and holistic approach, Headfort provides a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore, grow, and thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

We have two roles available in our kitchen for the remainder of the academic year. Requiring experience in a kitchen context, preparation of food, and qualified in all elements of food handling, preparation, hygiene and safety.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare healthy hot breakfasts and natural authentic meals
• Prepare snacks – baked breads, scones, and cakes
• Make two main meals per day – Lunch and Dinner for 94 children
• Be flexible in working hours – for a boarding school that runs 7 days per week

38 - 40 hours per week.
• Must have flexible working hours – start late finish late, start early finish early.
