Roasted Brown is made up of a creative and hard working team in the heart of Kilcoole co Wicklow. Our coffee shop which has been open for just over two years has become a thriving community cafe with excellent coffee and bakes for locals and those who travel from further afield. Customers enjoy a warm and friendly atmosphere and great quality in everything we serve from our beautiful coffee to curated bakes and sandwiches all in an environment where the roasting and baking in the background can all be observed from the coffee shop itself.

We are looking for a creative and passionate Foodie/Baker to take over our in-house bakery in Kilcoole. This is a two - three day per week role in a beautiful space in the middle of our Coffee shop and Roastery production.

This role is perfect for someone with a flare for creating new recipes and an interest in collaborating with our coffee offering as well as developing new seasonal bakes that change throughout the year. 

Applicants should…

Have a demonstrable interest in food and baking

Have a knowledge and understanding our Food Safety procedures and standards

A understanding and ability to manage stock rotation, orders, costing and pricing

Have an interest in curating other food items for the coffee shop menu eg Breakfast Snacks, Wine bar snacks, Toasted Sandwiches.

Be able to manage and implement systems for other staff to follow

Training for our existning recipes and bakes can be provided if teh position is filled earlier this month.
