Beag Cafe in Kilrush, Co Clare is looking for a Chef/Baker with previous experience to join our small team.

Beag is a small but busy, fast paced cafe. We pride ourselves on using local, seasonal produce to create the highest quality food daily. We are looking for someone who has previous experience working in a Chef/Baker role in a kitchen. This role will suit someone who is a self starter, a team player, reliable, organised, efficient and motivated. HACCP training is essential.

Role responsibilities:

• Preparing toasties, salad, breakfast bowls, soups, batch cooking and ingredient preparation
  Baking pastries, cakes, tarts etc.
• Immaculate cleanliness, hygiene and food safety is essential
  Kitchen organisation and ability to manage and run the kitchen when owners aren’t present
• An ability to plan and prepare
• An ability to produce food to the high standards we expect even when under pressure
•  

Work hours availability:

Weekdays and weekend availability needed although there will be a degree of flexibility.

Occasional availability in the evening time for pop up events.
